StudyPulse uses essential cookies to operate and secure the Service.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only after consent and can be changed through available cookie controls.
1. Scope of this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how StudyPulse uses cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, tags, and similar technologies when you visit studypulse.ai, use a StudyPulse web or mobile application, access an organization workspace, sign in through single sign-on, use an embedded service, or interact with another part of the Service.
This Policy should be read with the StudyPulse Privacy Policy. Terms such as “StudyPulse,” “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Service” have the meanings used in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file stored on a browser or device. Cookies can contain identifiers and settings that allow a website to recognize a browser, maintain a secure session, remember preferences, prevent fraud, measure performance, or support an integration.
Similar technologies include browser local storage, session storage, mobile application identifiers, software development kits, pixels, and server-side logs. This Policy uses “cookies” as a convenient term for these technologies where appropriate.
3. Who sets cookies
First-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by StudyPulse or on the StudyPulse domain. They are commonly used for sign-in, security, session management, organization routing, preferences, consent choices, and core functionality.
Third-party cookies
Third-party cookies may be set by a service integrated with StudyPulse, such as an identity provider, payment provider, embedded media provider, customer support tool, content provider, or analytics service. Third-party providers control their own cookies and privacy practices, subject to their agreements with StudyPulse or the organization that enabled the integration.

6. Legal basis and consent
StudyPulse uses strictly necessary cookies to provide a service requested by the user, maintain security, and operate essential functions. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, StudyPulse generally relies on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, or compliance with legal obligations.
For non-essential cookies, StudyPulse requests consent where required. Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and capable of withdrawal. Refusing optional cookies should not prevent access to core StudyPulse functions, although an optional integration or personalization feature may not work.
7. Managing cookie choices
- Use the StudyPulse cookie banner or cookie-settings control, where available, to accept, reject, or change optional categories.
- Use browser settings to delete or block cookies. Browser controls differ by browser and device.
- Use device settings to manage mobile application identifiers, permissions, and storage.
- Disable an optional integration through your account or ask your organization administrator where the integration is organization-managed.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, payment, security verification, or other core features. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
8. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not governed by a single accepted standard. StudyPulse may not respond to every Do Not Track signal. Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control for a practice that is subject to that signal, StudyPulse will apply it as required.
StudyPulse does not sell personal data for money and does not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Organization-enabled integrations
An organization administrator may enable identity, payment, communications, content, analytics, or learning integrations. The organization is responsible for deciding whether the integration is appropriate and lawful for its users. StudyPulse will apply available consent and access controls, but an integration provider may separately process information under its own privacy and cookie policies.
10. Children and learner accounts
StudyPulse does not use learner records or private AI conversations for third-party behavioural advertising. Cookies associated with child or school-managed accounts are limited to providing, securing, supporting, and measuring the authorized educational service, subject to applicable law and organization instructions.
Where parental consent or school authorization is required for an optional technology, the responsible organization or StudyPulse will obtain it as applicable before enabling the technology.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
StudyPulse may update this Policy when cookies, integrations, laws, or business practices change. The effective date will be revised. Material changes will receive additional notice where required.
